Not majoriong in it, but it is my least favourite subject so i sort of feel your pain.

Then again you chose it yourself i guess so you only have yourself to blame :D

From what I hear, accounting is where the money is at. Get through the finals and you'll be smoking $100 blunts in no time.

Me, being a Liberal Arts major, well I can look forward to being poor for the rest of the my life trying desperately to get a hit movie off the ground. :)

Have fun crunching numbers for rich people your whole life..I did that for a summer and wanted to shoot myself in the face.

Already through all of the tough classes. Intermediate I and II, Tax, Auditing. Just have to take cost, which is easy compared to intermediate, and advanced, but that should also not be that tough.

I'm taking my first quarter without any accounting courses in 2 years, so I've been spending most of my time at happy hour:D It really amazes me how easy all of the other business courses are compared to accounting. Like marketing, it's the communications degree for business majors. Agreed with what was said above though, get past finals, get the accounting degree, and you will have no problems getting a job. It doesn't even need to be in accounting. You have knowledge about a business subject that most people become easily confused about.

there's lots of other areas besides managing people's money. you can get into consulting, auditing, i-banking (a bit of a reach), tax, fraud investigation, just to name a few.

lucky you... i have financial 2's (i'm guessing that's intermediate 2) final tomorrow :nervous: this is going to be a long night :(

after this it should be smooth sailing for me too.. i'll just have audit and advanced. with only just those 2 classes it should be decently easy.

edit: and congrats to you jonze, must be a nice feeling! :D

i have three finals. auditing, fraud investigation, and securities regulation. audit and fraud are going to be easy, securities is a crap shoot since it's through the college of law and i've never taken anything through them before.
