need advice on a new computer

haven't been in the computer buying game for a long ass time.. I'm looking to get a new desktop within a month or so. Right now I am considering Cyberpowerinc (have bought from them before) and worst-comes-to-worst, Dell. I don't have the time or patience to build my own box.

I want to run dual DVI 24" monitors (1920x1200) and the computer will be mainly used for graphics (photo processing etc - no heavy gaming) and music production. I have the audio part of it covered, at least I hope it will work with my current PCI audio equipment. Will run XP Pro on it. Will get 2 more HD's for data from somewhere else. I don't feel the need to spend the extra $$ for 8800 or higher video cards, I think 8600's will suffice my needs.

Any comments / suggestions / recommendations on the following SLI setup at Cyberpower?

CASE: Apevia X-Jupiter Jr. (G Type Metallic Gray Color with Side-Window)

VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT 512MB 16X PCI Express (Major Brand Powered by NVIDIA)
VIDEO CARD 2: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT 512MB 16X PCI Express (Major Brand Powered by NVIDIA)

Optical Drive: (Special Price) 20X DVD±R/±RW + CD-R/RW DRIVE DUAL LAYER (BLACK COLOR)

thx in advance

Don't those video cards have dual outputs so you can run two monitors off of just one? I'm pretty sure they do.

I guess for graphics processing you would need SLI?

hey thanks - well you don't *need* SLI for graphics processing - it would just make things faster. I guess there would be 4 DVI outs on the back eh. I been out of the loop for too long, been managing with my older desktops and a newer C2D laptop for a while now.
