And my sister with no credit 2yrs ago had a 780. Your score does not tell all. You have yet to get that through. Your score is a risk factor based mostly on your credit history. |

Is the diamond card with citi also? If so you can usually call and get your account upgraded or rolled into the other program. |
it is citi, but do you think that would have any sort of fees? |

good credit > no credit > bad credit
:tongue2 |
Your credit history allowed you to get a mortgage in a market they gave EVERYONE a mortgage.
I have yet to find a job because I'm not taking a $12/hr job.
wrong. good credit > bad credit > no credit. No credit is worse than bad credit because they have NO history and nothing to go on with regards to payment history etc.

Not usually, but I would call and ask. Get the details. |

someone who has no credit has a better chance of getting loans/etc... than someone who has filed bankruptcy (which kills your credit rating).

Well if you want to get into that, then I will agree, but ONLY if the person with bad credit has declared bankruptcy. If they have not, then my answer still applies.

I said that as I don't know the details on that card and their policies with going from one type of card to another. That isn't credit advice that I or anyone that doesn't work in that department of the issuing bank will know. |

c. transfer balance? (i wouldn't want to go this route as i'm sure there are plenty of fees)
what are your opinions that will be best in regards to my credit score? |
transfer balance. there are no fees. choose a company that offers 0% interest for 6 months or more. and then balance transfer again to a new company at the end of the 6 months.
if youre smart you never have to pay interest again ;) though i got sick of transferring every 6 months, so finally i settled on an offer from citibank which gave me 4% for the life of the money owed. |

This is actually bad. They see that the balance is just getting moved around. |
