| there is alot of intolerance in this thread. I have known about how thumbs up is incredible offensive to Iranians. It's the equivalent to the middle finger gesture. Can't some of y'all respect that? Yeah i understand that Iranians in Canada should submit to a Canadian way of life but in all honesty its called manners...better known as being civil and trying not to offend those in your company. But then again, we all make mistakes and now everyone in this thread knows better.... |

No. Over here it means something different. It's up to them to understand that. I'm still gonna give the thumbs up to iranians if I feel like it, and if they get offended, that's their own damn problem. When you move to another culture, you adapt to it. Everyone else shouldn't have to adapt to you. |
