Decided not to go after all...I wasn't a fan to begin with but after seeing some videos I decided I won't be able to tolerate more than 10 min of farty Electro.
I'd rather save myself for some real talent..like Danny Howells. ;)

i do however think you're being a bit too harsh. people like him. it may not fit your style (or mine), but he has his own sound which has defined him and people like it. i agree with you that there's no "soul" in it and i don't like the direction house music is going in if this is it....but that's the way it's going, and neither you nor i can stop it. fortunately, there is a vast amount of other house music out there that we both can choose from.
i don't like his sound and i don't like his image...but that's what he's doing and he's obviously doing something right.
p.s. i do think his track "complications" is quite good
