Has it already started? I keep up with the news and nothing i've seen has popped up on the gentrification of New Orleans. But if you do know info on this, post it up.

It seems like it would be a hip place for people to gentrify. I mean bush has ignored that whole arean down south. The country wanted to see that area succeed again. Will New Orleans be known for indie rock instead of jazz?

What are your thoughts?

The current government currently worries more about Iraqi's and the American aristocracy than about average people in New Orleans...

Nagin has been a pretty out-spoken critic of administration policies about the war. And even if he was for the initial military operation, you don't think he's pissed as all hell that we're still there, still spending billions of dollars a day, and New Orleans has yet to receive the amount mandated it by the government?

i don't know, maybe he doesn't know the intracasies of Congressional budget allocations. (probably does)

i think he should speak to Landrieu about it and you not jumping to politicize it at the drop of a hat? theres been plenty of that and to what end though?

What does this have to do with anything? Does Blanco/Nagin opinions change the reality in Washington?
