| Cyan=Ur perfect example of Psy Trance. Yevat introduced me to this greek d00d when he was on the boards and eh..ive heard beta. Some nice stuff but very repetitive. Cyan - Merlin, I suggest you get that. |

Yep, Sand Leaper is right. Most of the new psy-trance is way too minimalistic and uses too much electric guitars for my taste. Really boring . Real goa can be great though, Stuff by Hallucinogen, Pleiadians and Infected is so complex, so sophisticated creative and subtle...just unbelievable. X-dream has a good sound that is excately on the thin line between minimalistic and so called "full on" psy. Nice tracks!
edit: Cyan is NOT psytrance but cheesy "nizhonot" style. A simple party sound created in israel, not really goa.

I would say that Goa has more of an electronic spacey sound like Astral Projection and that Psy has a more trippy feel like Infected Mushroom, imo... |

anyone like Chi-A.D.??? They are hard for Psy! Love it!
Of course, Halluciogen, Infected Mushroom, and Astral Projection are the best. Mahadeva is probably my favorite psy song ever. |

| oakie did another goa mix on a more recent level(2001) only i cant remeber the name of the album but there are 12 tracks on it. i was thinking about buying it because i havnt heard it and i really like his goa silver mixes, he has great track selection , and he plays lots of "Man With No Name" on his goa mixes. damn i wish i could remeber the name of that album |
