I live in Philly so I get to see Josh play 5-10 times a year. He is an amazing mixer, an even better programmer and an incredibly creative DJ.
Nice guy to boot.....go see Josh Wink.

| I was really looking forward this. It's too bad that Josh's show was the day after Armin. I guess everyone that went to Armin was too busy nursing a hangover because there was nobody there. I've seen Josh's A-game and that wasn't it. Can't say I blame the guy though b/c nobody was getting into it. |

| damn, sucks to hear it wasnt that great. seems the crowd for a josh wink party would be completely different than the armin crowd. wink's sound probably doesnt click too well with the atlanta scene either. oh well |

His stuff is certainly more down-tempo than the big names we're used to seeing in this town. He's been throwing down a bunch of acid house and techno lately, which we're used to hearing only in opening sets. I think Josh is more admired by other DJ's than general dance music fans, quite the opposite of most of the "top" DJ's. His mixes are usually pretty innovative and creative. Much like One + One, but in a different way. |
