well now, this looks like something i'd be interested in...

i support a good deal of the producers in this tracklist but I didn't really get into this mix because these are mostly the tracks i wouldn't play by these producers :p

a little too much bleep bloop for me, but not that funky.

was digging the neurotron minus the vox. where did you get this? It's not even on neurotron's website? promo?

the pedro bucarelli was nice too. deep and rolling, very hypnotic

i've heard much better from alvarado: aqua, blue dub, sol, luna, beautification to name a few

across the city remix was nice, as was expected

mixing was fine but you're not going to surprise anyone - very obvious track to track technique

the end was very jarring, mixed like top 40 into that little hook

i don't know this is like the 'dirty house' equivalent of techno these days i suppose. not really my thing

thanks for the review. the neurotron track i got off beatport. the alvarado track unspoken also got off beatport as a promo. really liked the tribal bassline in that one so i decided i'd make some room for it in this set. i used a low pass filter in some of the transitions just to make things a little more interesting. the was really no other way to mix that last track at the end, its a 4 and a half minute track with a lot of those funky breakdowns, so not a lot of room to make a long transition with.

been loving a lot of stuff by these producers lately, especially perc who has been putting out some sick tracks and remixes. nice hard beat beats with twisted basslines!
