His Bootleg mix of "Timbaland ft One Republic - Apologize" just sums up what he's come to...

Which sounds nothing like Supernaturalistic.

What's wrong with his album? Not that minimal, actually.

I have been thinking a lot about this lately and Sander's sound is one that I have adapted myself. It's a much more mature sound that incorporates Trance, Techno, House and hints of Minimal. I've been listening to him since he broke into the scene, and he's one of the DJ's that's been able to evolve with the music. Music in general is not the same as it was 4-5 years ago when svd first hit the scene, and I think it's amazing that he's been able to find a certain sound that people seem to like best and mold it into something of his own. His new sound is unique to him and no one else, while I might think Leon Bolier is very close. Sander van Doorn will always be considered an innovator with pure talent that that will excel him to the next level... And I think he's already there! :toocool:

He was great when he played tech-trance but now his style has progressed and his personal sound has matured.

So I've been following along with SVD's Identity mixes from 2006 and early 2007 and the style was pretty impressive in the harder and techier side of trance, but I have to say his recent mixes (and album for that matter) just don't live up to his older stuff. Does anyone else feel the same way or am I just not keeping up with the newest styles? :(
oh christ, i heard him at the WMC like 5 times, and he pounded the hard techier beats every set, he is awsome.

Just as any producer of the caliber that he is of, he has to keep with the trends in order to stay "hot." Nobody cares for tech-trance anymore, I think even Marco V ditched it aside.
