But in all honesty, this place has never been good at choosing mods, time wise. Jason should've been a mod 2 years before he was, redeye never did anything, atm montana, lucid and sometimes greg are the main ones around, since del's not posting half as much now, neo's busy with his love of french carbon fibre etc.
imo, we need 3 new mods from diff time areas to cover, european one, a us one (lesbianosaur gets my nomination :p) and maybe a trustworthy aussie, so um. sushi, lilly or pkc for s & giggles. |

Mods aren't really the issue with bots. If a spamming bot were to be controlled it would require tweaking the forum server. Banning the username/IP would serve no purpose. This forum is run on an old version of vBulletin Forums as it lacks a lot of the functionality that the current vBulletin has.
While I personally prefer phpBB as it's OSS, vBulletin is good too. A lot of the functionality it has is really nice. |
