Who's Afraid of Detroit?

This Saturday - For anyone who's been paying attention to house / techno music for the past couple of years you know you're in for a treat this week as we welcome some of today's most talented artists to Avalon. Claude VonStroke, label boss of Dirtybird Records, has been responsible for the international hit "Who's Afraid of Detroit?" along with "Deep Throat" back in 2005. Claude is joined on the main stage by Ellen Allien, a woman of many talents and interests, who has been touring in support of her new album "Sool" which will be coming out later this month on her label Bpitch Contol in Germany. She is joined by label mate Sascha Funke who is also in the middle of releasing a new album on Bpitch. Starting the night out with a live performance is Los Angeles based Acid Circus (Droid Behavior), who have been pushing the underground for years, get their overdue return to Avalon.
We are also re-opening the Honey Lounge this week with Avaland Residents, Droog (Andrei Osyka / Brett Griffin / Justin Sloe), for a very special evening with close friends and supporters over the past few years. Be sure to stop in to experience an intimate setting in a superclub that most venues are unable to provide. Nice seating, low ceilings, good people, smoking alley and of course great music. In celebration of the re-opening of Honey - the first 100 people through the door will receive Droog's new mixed CD titled "Peer Pressure" which has been receiving great reviews over the past few weeks. Drumcell (Droid Behavior) will be providing the music on the terrace this week.
too late notice. i've made plans. and i'm ing bummed out. if i think about it anymore i'm gonna start crying and . have fun guys.
i understand will call and ticket sales end like at 1am or whatever, but do you guys know what time they stop letting people in? because i have a plan to go there and pick up my ticket very early, and then go do my thing, and come back at 2 or 3 am or something. let me know if you know! thanks!

I believe the average end time is 7pmish. There are three headliners tonight so I'm guessing it will close after 7pm.

Anyone here going to this? I haven't been to Avalon in about 1 yr. and well... I'm gonna feel so out of place. :(

! the party's going to end in a few minutes? completely forgot about it. i thought doors officially opens at 9pm.
