Barcelona is great. Same with Amsterdam, Paris, etc. If you guys are going in June, (to Barcelona at least) check out this: www.sonar.es (Ben probably knows about it.) I know you don't like techno but STILL, you will after this. Also they play experimental stuff like crazy.

I was wondering if anyone has been around the Swiss Alps. I was looking at some images and the landscape is just breathtaking! I would love to go there but need more info as to if I can get there with the eurail/how to get there/must-see locations.

Save HARD man... certain cities are cheaper than others .. Berlin is CHEAP for hotels for ex.. me personally i wont stay in a hostel cuz i think its dirt and i dont want randoms in the same room as me .and i like to be in a nice hotel so i just shop around... and work my ASS off to save up for a good trip... i figure when your on vacation its not time to be a cheap ass providing you can afford it generally speaking:)

The Swiss Alps are BREATHTAKING!!! I was there 3 years ago and had the time of my life! I got lost by myself for an entire day, and roamed around the mountains... best accident that could have happened! Totally serene :D

Here are some of my pics...
