Yeah, two of them were just chillin in the plastic bag from Fresh n Easy. At the store, they were perfect yellow, but 30 min later already looked a day old at my place. But my place was also hot and damn...gross. I live in bacteria apt.

I've found recent research (within the past 6 months) that shows the cold carries more viruses, and that they are virtually non-existent in 80+ plus weather. I just have to find the source....

Ripening fruit emits the gas ethylene which in turn causes more ripening.
Keep fruit in a bag and it'll overripen very quickly.

I stole a banana from the MGM Grand buffett, and I never ended up eating it and it just sat in my kitchen for about a week and a half without getting brown spots. wtf? i even opened it up before i threw it out to make sure it was real.
