The anti-banana stance is correct. It's not the oil, it's the potassium...so avoid them.
Eat lots of citrus friut.
Basically, mozzies use the blood to feed thier eggs. I guess the potassium is important to that process, whereas the citrus makes you smell all acidic and undesirable. Fights off scurvy, too. |

ing hate mosquitoes...I'm the only one in my family that gets bit. Wonder why? That noise they making in your ear when you try to sleep is THE WORST ING THING EVER.

| imo, yes stay away from bananas, and yes oranges are good. basically anything that keeps your body cool is good. do you drink a lot of coffee? i have found that mosquitoes are attracted more to my skin when i drink coffee a lot. it seems they love the sugar in my blood plus the fact my body is warm. :) |
