| Ok s oi wanna know of any amazing tunes of this year...preferably from paul van dyke, armin van buren, tiesto, ferry corsten . But other artists and djs are pefectly fine. Also what are the best artist out there for good trance music. thanks |

Why can't you look for your own music?
You have Google. You have Discogs. You have Beatport and AudioJelly. You have sites like Resident Advisor devoted to reviewing EDM. You have a forum on this board that lists dozens of new releases. You have similar forums to check out on lots of other EDM boards.
Try to be proactive and do your own work, eh? |

| O man...i remember the days of searching for EDM music before most EDM forums came around, quite the treasurehunt. Now you can search a forum or Beatport and its all there, or attempt an even bigger shortcut like the OP. lol |

I'm reading the book about the history of DJing... and I'm ashamed to call myself a DJ. Back then, DJs flew from London to NYC to get good records, they steamed the labels off so that other DJs didn't know what they were playing, the size of the crowd depended on what records DJs had - sometimes they had the only copy, or one of two copies in the world, clubbers would take pictures with the records :wtf:
Also, DJs had to play 8-hour sets built up of 3-minute-long tracks on 2 ty decks with no pitch control and no mixer, and a lot of girls (or, in many cases, guys), and do a lot of drugs (irrelevant to the point, but still)
