Well just a general question.
I have a stanton m.201 and a behringer djx700 mixer, and im getting serato so obviously i only need 2 channels, and i want to sell 1 of my 2 crappy (and my crappy i realy mean hole) mixers, but I dont know which. Which should i sell and which should i use before i get enough money to upgrade

hmm well i was planning on selling 1 and them my stanton c.314 and my wii to get SSL, so if i sell both then i'll just have 2 TT's with SSL and no mixer....unless i should just get a mixer and wait till august to get SSL

There's a Rane mixer that's packaged with Serato Scratch. Runs bout $1100 iirc.

Best advice ever: You get what you pay for.

Waiting is worth it, trust me. It'll prevent unncessary upgrades in the future.

Of course, this all depends on how serious your hobby of mixing is, and your future plans.

as a bare bones mixer, i highly recommend the denon dn x-100

i use it with my cdj-200's and it's actually a very good mixer

it has everything you need to pull of a great mix and it doesn't have bells and whistles to distract you

it's compact, all the faders are curve adjustable and it has cue pan, it's a no-nonsense, let's get it done mixer and the sound quality is pretty good for it's price range

even my dj friends love it

really though, i feel it shows a dj's talent if you can mix on something like this, like the numark blue dog, the one with no eq's

if you can mix on something like these, you can mix on anything
