What a great night!!
I was a little worried in the beginning of the night as the cd's that I burned and was planning on playing weren't working. That's the first time that ever happened to me. :( However, after coming to terms with what was happening, I decided to have fun with it and revisit some older tracks that worked really well. :)
Above & Beyond are simply amazing. Aside from being really great people and great producers, there dj talents shine through every time they come to NYC. I love it how they start there sets with progressive house and build in energy throughout the night into high energy good feeling trance. As always it was an honor and a privilege to open up for them.
It was great seeing so many of you. Next stop, Armin this Wednesday night :)
Wow this night was CCRRAZZYY for my crew & I! My girl wrote Above & Beyond on her stomach. The guy working the t-shirt and CD table saw this, apparently works for Ajunabeats so he grabbed her, pulled her into the DJ booth and one of the guys from A&B kissed her stomach. She came down practically crying she was so happy. Then Brendan, our buddy in VIP, gave her the signed vinyl that he got, which made her practically cry again. Loved it when they dropped New York and Satellite. Satellite always makes me melt when I hear it :) All in all, frickin amazing night, well worth the drive up from DC. Definitely glad I came to nYC to see them with my favorite party people instead of just staying home and seeing them at Ibiza :)
