In defense of Blowzo, he indeed only got the amount he said he did. It was a division between him and others. He has another job, this was for cash on the side and to meet some chill peeps. In return he got free entry into the club, which only happened a couple of times and about 4 drink tix.... that's it.
Everything is under the table so there have been no "paychecks."
I would have never had that much patience to begin with, I honestly don't know why he did it for so long.
The main issue I think was the head counts... he definitely wasn't provided an accurate head count (which the fault is still not clear).
Anyway, it's over. Promotors have a big influence on headcounts and they deserve something for that. |

#1 On Topic
I think each club, or promotion team should set it's guidelines depending on the popularity of the club. For instance. If they club kinda sucks, you should get more money, then if you are promoting for a #1 club in town. Now if you grow the less popular to a popular, you should be able to stick to that amount that you started at per head.

I wanted to address some of the issues by the haters out there.
I have a "real Job" that i get paid very well to do. I was promoting on the side, because it was great to hook up friends. When I started I was told I would get "x" amount per head that showed up. I was also told that it would take a while to get paid due to the fact that the promotions company is generally far behind the date from the actual pay date.... now none of that is really necessary to go over, but I do want to be honest.
Now when you have a list for a specific date of over 200 people for a specific date, and when you get the paid slip and they tell you only 6 people showed up, it is really ty. They list their payslips something like this
date - amount of people
date - amount of people
I'm not a retard, nor am I stupid. I was trustworthy of the club/promotions company that I have grown to love over the years (before Working for them). I mean let's face it. You ask what are the big names out there, and you think Giant, and Vanguard, and Insomniac.... wouldn't you trust them?
In regards to spam. I posted my issues Once, and never brought it up again, so whoever said spamming this... get your facts straight before opening your pie hole.
Any promoter will tell you, there are good times, bad time. There are reasons for doing promotions such as friends/drinks/free admittance... etc.... if you expect one thing, and get promised that... and then that thing is not delivered... you get let down.
Haters... get over yourselves... enjoy life.... have fun.... party. Don't go on boards acting like you are some hard ass, or even cool. No on likes bad attitudes...
