I have never lived in T.O only commuted to work
since i am no longer going to work in Toronto clubs I don't intend to drive the 120k each way just to go out
i have seen every dj i want to see , so now i am more likely to start doing miami and ibiza more often as well as visiting home more (uk) to see family and reconnect with friends who still work in the uk scene, which may bring about me relocating back to europe |

I don't think we've formally but I've always enjoyed reading your insights into the club scene in Toronto :) |

You've always been a gentleman and given me a true appreciation into what all goes on in order to successfully pull of a night.
Thank you! |

You are from Barrie (looked at your myspace page).
You must be a nice guy.
I never met you, but wish you the best of luck where ever you go from here. |

| I've met you once at the Docks previously for a party along with a lot of other TAs and you were nothing but hospitable and generous even showing us a tour of the reno's at the time. Sorry to hear about the troubles politically. It bites that you have to retire because of it. I wish you well in your new endeavours Russell! All the best. |

Sorry to hear about all the club politics that have caused you to leave your job. I only met you a handful of times, but right away I could tell you had a passion for your work.
Best of luck with your future endeavors. |

I think I've only met you once very briefly, but given the amount of amazing parties you've been involved with that I've been to, and given the high level of respect people on this board and other people in the scene have for you, this is a sad day for the scene in Toronto.
It's dissapointing that someone who's been in the scene for this long has to call it quits. Good luck with whatever you decide to do man. |

Russ, I've been waiting a while to meet you personally, and one day...
I hope the break from the politics will revive a new outlook on life. The scene can be quite obstructive of reality. I've known a friend or two who changed careers they never thought they ever would, and discovered there are greener pastures, and wished they would have done it sooner. I hope you fare well.
On a side note... your departure from Circa now perhaps indicates more failures at Circa and a sign of things to come. |

| All the best...change is good, politics as the catalyst or not. :) |
