My dad once picked me up from school in 5th grade wearing flip flops, knee high red soccer socks, plaid shorts and a t-shirt from the band "The Mieces" bearing this wonderful artwork:

i went to best buy in socks + slippers on black friday once

Wearing socks with sandals is pretty bad (as bad as wearing a short sleeve dress shirt with a tie), but I think it's a lot worse when someone who has disgusting feet wear sandals without socks IMO.
