You can use the Serato Hardware with Traktor software??!?!!?

Personally I like the Serato software but being able to play 4 tracks at once with traktor sounds quite good too.

You cannot use the SSL soundcard with Traktor Scratch*, or visa versa. Timecode control in Traktor Scratch only works with Native Instrument's Audio 8 soundcard, which comes with the package. The "Crossgrade" package is just an attempt by Native Instrument to sway you into buying Traktor Scratch, at a reduced price ($399 vs. $599 normal price) if you own Serato ScratchLIVE, Final Scratch 1/2 or the regular version of Traktor, and can provide proof/documentation with receipt. Do not buy the Crossgrade package if you do not own one of the above products and/or cannot provide proof (receipt) of ownership, and also you need to have purchased any of the above before May 1st, 2007.

*It's possible to use the SL1 in Traktor if you have the ASIO drivers installed for the SL1, but as mentioned, timecode control only works with the Audio 8 soundcard or a TS certified mixer (Korg Zero 4/8, Mackie d4 Pro, Ecler Evo5).

Yes, but you will have to buy the "Upgrade kit," which costs $339...
