I wrote about al-Libi's torture in Egypt, which gave the Bush admin the "intelligence" that Saddam had trained Al-Qaida in chemical/biological weapons...

The CIA later came out in August 2004 stating (Strobel, Landay, Walcott, 2004), “There is no conclusive evidence that the regime harbored Osama bin Laden associate Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi.” The fact is the relationship between Saddam Hussein and Al-Qaeda affiliates is extremely doubtful at best. This specific piece of intelligence he provided was under very questionable circumstances as he was in the detention of Egyptian authorities at the time, a country known to use torture. The information al-Libi provided under harsh treatment could not be counted on as creditable intelligence. In a November 2005 Newsweek article, two US counter-terrorism officials said they believed Colon Powell had obtained the information about supposed Iraqi involvement with Zarqawi and Al-Iraqi exclusively from Egyptian-held al-Libi. The evidence provided to the Security Council about Iraqi ties to Al-Qaeda is still unfounded to this day. |

I didn't exactly learn anything new here as I've been posting about this for years. A lot of the psychological torture techniques and sexual humilation tactics are mkultra 101 minus the drugs. I'm guessing future terrorist attacks are going to be 9-11 ten fold. They haven't even ing mentioned the sexual torture of children and raping women yet. A complete ing whitewash. This is far from "balanced" you disingenuos politically correct s.
P.S. Other dogs that should be muzzled are these piece of military savages. [EDIT] Plus a long list of people in the execute branch and high ranking military and intelligence officers. Can somebody muzzle Bush too so we don't have to listen to his retarded responses and ramblings? While we're at it, somebody muzzle Dick ing Cheney too. And send him on another hunting trip with all the criminals in the white house and military... and blindfold the mothering Dick [Cheney]... so he hopefully shoots every single one of these s... I mean birds... in the face. |

Haha, I'm pissed off as these days yes :p. And the fact that I'm not doing any qi gung or meditation doesn't help... [edit] but all the crap that's going on these days.... and has been for a while should piss off anybody with a shred of decency and humanity left in them. |

got any proof that the sexual torture of children and raping of women were a systemic part of the war on terror? do you have any reason to include such cases in a documentary about institutionalised treatment condoned by the pointy end of the pentagon or white house?
or are you merely crying foul because the doco wasn't nearly bat crazy or over the top enough?
i didnt learn anything particularly new either, however it was still an excellent doco. |
