This is the ing drug baby of prydz and every single one of his tunes.

As iammesol said, its a sad thing these sorta things happen all the time with new Prydz tunes. There are always some screw-ups who take a leap with stolen material, due to which tracks dont get released a lot of the time. Prydz is a true dedicated producer, as he's doing everything possible within his range to keep things his own before they get out. It shows (i think) his non-commerciality for the music, but the love for what he does. He couldve released a dozen of tunes which got leaked in the past, and which where huge. 2 bad such tunes get out in the open before he even wants them there :(

Artists leak their own all the time, it's a tool for hype. All they do is fade out parts of the tune to make it unmixable or add some really annoying ass thing in there or blatent use of effects to make it so obvious the DJ is playing a tiefed tune.

It's just a strategy, thousands use beatport, tens of millions use P2P + torrents, which is the better to promote an unreleased tune

There might be one exception to the story, but im sure he's not the kinda guy who puts his own unreleased material on the net to start a big hype, or that people can enjoy it. AND IF that should happen (leaking of unreleased stuff), he would never do it for the cash or commercial benefits etc ... of course, he doesnt have full control of his unreleased tracks. I believe he sends a lot of his new unreleased stuff frequently to e.g. Paolo Mojo.
Then, there's the story of his sets which he doesnt allow to be recorded, but which get recorded on some rare occasions, and in (2 to me) known cases, get out on the net, sometimes in the form of recons of new/unreleased tracks. If I remember right, he has a strict policy/clausule that clubs were he plays, may not record his sets. Sometimes, such clubs do that however. Thats beyond his own control of course.
For example, this year, one of his sets leaked out in such a way. The same thing happened in 2007 with one of his sets. Such sets usually contain a lot of unreleased/new material, which can form the basis of recons etc, such as might have happened to Armed/Rymd ...

Nope. I've never seen him pissed unless stuff like this happens. He absolutely DESPISES it. And don't be dumb about the hype... do you honestly thinks he needs it? :p

And yeah Maestro, there is a 40,000 pound damage clause in his contract about illegal recordings :p

Im not so good in names, but im sure Iammesol can name you a few.

I don't think he's had that many that leaked and didn't release them, as much as he's had literally about 30 or more tracks that deserve a release and never got one. He's one picky bastard.
