[Edit: In case you were wondering, this is actually a classic trance track from '93, not a "new mix" as the YouTube label suggests.]

1. stupid thread
2. that's not a new mix, it's an original track from 1993
3. yeah, Dance 2 Trance always had a couple of tracks that sounded closer (compared to some other classic trance tracks) to psychedelic trance, but this is not psychedelic trance (like that first comment on YT suggests)

I know. Unfortunately, the mislabeled video was the only one available.

The comments are dumb, I agree. But I posted it so people could listen to it, not so they could read the misinformed YouTube comments.
:p
PETRAN
Love the track!
Here are a few more that i like recently (from '93 and '94)...
Cybordelics - "Alice in Wonderland" (1994)
Cybordelics - "Adventures of Dama" (1993)
Progressive Attack- "Cyberlove" (1993)
The Essence of Nature - "Blue Lotus"
Edit: Sorry, the first video was actually "blue lotus" which is now moved to the end. Actual first video is now added.

GILLES
Yeah ! Jam El Mar & Dag were just ing brilliant under this alias.
We Came In Peace (the 90's Original), Hello San Francisco and Where's Dag ? are three of my favourite earlier trance tune. When it was truly TRANCE. Power Of American Native (Dance 2 Trance Remix) is also very good. But my fav's from these guy are under the alias of Peyote with these two awesome tunes :
Peyote - I Will Fight No More Forever
Peyote - Alcatraz

You mean Happy Birthday?
True, DJ Dag's fascination with Native American culture definitely reached its peak with Peyote project. I'd also add my favourite - Shaman's Call to your list, beautiful tribalish downtempo beauty with contagious NA flute hook

Some I posted at my "Remember this" topic (which you also could use to post old tracks if you like):
Same age, different sound.
"Trance Nation" and "Trancemaster" compilations of that period by the way were great, have the same sound as the other tracks posted by Petran or at least are very close to them.
Still cool: Golden Girls - Kinetic (Frank De Wulf remix) 1992
Great: lots of bells, special atmosphere: Capricorn - 20 Hz (1993)
Oh, to stay on topic, I just noticed the NEW 2007 label.
Stupid, it does sound like 1993 stuff, old. Other tracks sound more timeless IMO. Best example from 1994 Scooter - Cosmos. Could be made yesterday.
