i havnt heard his new album, what was it like trance globe or something?? in fact ive never heard any of his music. and recently i was reading in a car magazine that he was the best trance dj in America and that they are comparing him to Paul Oakenfold. is he really that good? how come i never heard of him... well in this interview one of the questions that they asked him was "so, you've played all around the world, where is your favorite place to party?" and he said Sourthern Cali baby, hell yeah thats right!!!
so anyhow gimme me some of your opinions on America's "#1" DJ...
thanks

yep, but last night i was in the cd store and i saw one of his album's but i was afraid to spend 1980 yen on it, and thats a good deal for yen!!
Bayou Boy
he's spinnin at freakfest down here in new orleans next weekened...so i'll let ya know how he is live, but as for as the new cd..i havn't heard it....united states of trance rocks though!

I like him quite a bit. His new album is ok, but i prefered his last one (United States of Trance)....his sound is a really clean, driving sound...almost an american Paul Van Dyk-type feel.

HAAHAHAHA...I heard this guy about 5 times in my life. He tends to spin a lot in the California area. Los Angeles gathers up tons of people to events, so thats why he might like it there. To some people, he might be considered best DJ in america, but in my eyes, I like george acosta better. But his skills in djing are awesome. A great mixture or sounds and buildup, his style is like a racing type of music. If you want to listen to an album of his, I recommend trilogy: empire one. United States of Trance is a pretty good album also. Around the world, his most recent album, I was a little disappointed, but its still a good album. His style is nowhere near paul van dyk and oakenfold, but he is an awesome dj. He is a little overrated in America, but underrated in the world!!!

Possible #1 djs in U.S.
George acosta
Christopher Lawrence
Kimball Collins
Danny Tenaglia
everyone else falls into second place.

just to mention...they aren't in order!!! I personally don't like tenaglia, but I know other people do. That list is just my nominations for #1 dj in america and what I'm guessing many other people's opinions.

no way he can compete with Oakie... i have heard from other people his mixes are superb, but never really botherd to actually listen even though he was at so many events i attended. so i can't really judge him. if only BT DJed more he would be the best in the US he already dominates the world with his productions! ;)

I'd say Jerry Bonham is the No.1 U.S. DJ closely followed by Jimmy Van M.

BT does DJ. Just not very often.
He did 1hr of an essential mix just the other week there.
SmellsExcellent
Christopher Lawrence is AWESOME live! He really is a sweet DJ and his sets are racing like said above. He spun with Steve Proter the other weekend and it was a night to behold!
