my advice? Its all in the mixing and use of proper instruments and samples. Get a solid kick you like, make a bass that goes well with it, then build on that, all the while making sure the mix does not get muddy or confusing at any time. If it does, take one step back, and see what you did wrong |

srsly, i've been at this for 14 years now, and am only now getting decent at it (granted I've only been dj'ing for half of that time) and a majority of that time was working solely with hardware synths (mostly vintage ones). |
