| I would just like to say, for the record, that if it was someone from another promotion company was posting about a relationship change between Ink and one of the djs I am friends with, I would be ALL OVER THAT TOO! |

hmmmmm well first off everyone is entitled to thier point of view and i will not put down any views or ideology...
here is my thoughts on a few theories of vine/jeff beef or promotion beefs.
There is nothing to solidify that jeff or vince have bad blood directly.
Vince, made it clear he was curious, though he was at M.A.N.D.Y. the night before, rumors were probably flying and perhaps he tunred to the boards for a second opinion?
The only way i could see this as a "spit in the face" to jeff was if the junkies took over Exposed, and then vince or val posted the thread.
Its easy to speculate but really without actual facts we can't accuse anyone of being guilty.
I am not a "ink" fan nor a JBUTTON "hater". Infact i hate most of the small time nickle and dime promoters in this city...anyway I can see where some of the theories come from regarding vince's post as being some sort of internet rhetoric, but i still don't that is the case.
Jbutton has apparently moved on by personal choice, he obviously has a fan base evident on this board, and he's a proven business man with the purchase of a beverage line...I have yet to see one negative post regarding him, mod or any of the promoters or staff involved, unless i am missing something?

I'm 100% with your loyalty rach, but i think the situation is being over analyzed?
and why vince playing the villain if this is true? why not an ink promoter or an alt account? |

Matt, I didn't say there was any 'beef' between them, not at all. I don't think for one second there is. With all due respect too, you're fairly new to this and one day, I will verbally explain to you some history.
I like Vince, I like Jeff, I like Carey - hell, I even like Jon Jon so let's not take my words out of context shall we?
Politically, I think this thread was in bad taste. I would LOVE everyone to get along and like I said, if I thought it was pure curiosity, I would have left it at that. I don't think that it was and so I called it.

I could see myself as a dj sticking to certain clubs and supporting mostly people within my circle.
Maybe it is wrong.
I guess a bad example would be like a Nike spokeperson shopping at a Reebok store, just because they share the same industry...
would a broker from JP Morgan, buy his stocks through a broker at Meryill Lynch?
