I don;t agree that Zidane is the best.
There isn't a best player in the world because every match is different.
And there is difference between forward, defense and midfield.
If U put Zidane in defense he wouldn't be a great player.
But I agree that Zidane is one of thye best players in the world.
But also Raul (raoel :)), Keane, Batistuta, Van The Man and Stam are TOP players.
Off-course there are a lot other great players. |

I was watching the match with a friend and we almost spit out our beers when we saw that goal. jesus to volley it mid-air and the spin was incredible. Viva REAL MADRID!!!
ps i wish they had la quinela in eeuu. |

I think there is a best player and it's him... Why him? Because what he can do with a ball, nobody has never done it as easyly as and as well as him in a match... His passes are incredible, he has eyes everywhere!! When you see him playing football, you have a feeling that things are so simple!
I agree that Zidane wouldn't be a good defender but every defender can be replaced, a player like Zidane has no equal...
If Zidane didn't play for Madrid, this team (that I hate) wouldn't have won the Champions League... :crazy: |

Bull man, total bull! Only one person cant change the power of a team. Its the team as a whole that must do it, not one person.

I think that players like Zidane, beckham or Rivaldo can change themselves the power of a team...!
Look at the english team without Beckham or the french team without Zidane!! :) |

| While I do not dispute that Zidane is an incredible player, I have to say that no one has the ability to move past defenders the way that Denielson (sp) has been able to as of late. My reasoning for agreeing with those who say Zidane is great is that not only is he capable of so much, but his team relies on him a great deal. Without him, France is nothing, whereas, Brazil still has Ronaldo and Rivaldo at forward and don't need to rely on a single player for goal scoring. |
