FL Studio questions

First off, hi to everyone. I'm relatively new to this forum.
Well, I'm learning how to use FL Studio, and I have some questions.
How can I do to don't apply an effect instantly, but gradually between a range of bars?
I mean, for example, I want a filter to be gradually applied from bar 8 to bar 16.
Another example, I want to pan a track from left to right gradually in a 4 bars interval.

| I do not use fl studio, but you're going to have to either draw or record automation of a particular perameter. For effects, the Dry/Wet knob is what you seem to want to play around with. Full Dry being 100% without effect, full wet being 100% of the effect being applied. |
