Yeah... The "breaks" are difficult at the dance floor.
I just hate them. :wtf:

And same thing when doing sport, the breaks take the energy away...
I mean if the break is long... Some very short break is ok.

I agree.

Too many tracks have breaks that go for way too long. Takes all the momentum out of a set. Breaks longer than thirty seconds or so should be used sparingly...

Oh... I was ment to reply to the another thread (about finishing your track/making complete track), instead I seemed to create new thread...oops...:p

I wonder, are there many people that REALLY love those loooong breaks and looong build ups? I think I only know people who doesn't like them...
hasbone
if you looove long breakdowns, listen to hardstyle
BOOsTER
Actually I think a looooong ass buildup and breakdown could possibly add to a track more than a sidechain :p

well...if you think of it, it all depends from track to track, but even when you are dancing, you can hear the rythm anyway, and that's when true dancers are separated from all those party looser-posers :p

Ah...Posing on the dance-floor...Damn...
Some people just can't seem to get what dance floor means.
Dance floor=dance/move.
Posing, that you can do somewhere else :D

Sidechain!
I just looooooove that!
Well usually...

bollocks.. long breaks when done right are the win - old push/m.i.k.e. tracks like exposure - "magic impulses" & the gift "the seventh day". any remember the massive breakdown for "das glockenspeil", the humate mix as well?

30 seconds is way too short !

..come to think of it, every awesome epic track has a huge breakdown.. this thread sucks
