Haha funny you mention this.
The Promoter is looking at this with open eyes and giving all of Houston's EDM dj's a chance to play. Some of them are residents at clubs, some of them have just done house parties and some of them have only been djing for a few months and have no idea how to read a crowd yet. but none the less they are letting lots of people have a chance to play witch i think is cool to an extent. their not picking favorites as they would say.
As for hip hop not sure about that one as the promoter highly dislikes hiphop.
Thats one thing when you are the 4th largest city in the U.S. Everyone thinks they are a dj. catch my drift. Not saying it only happens here but atleast they are getting the chance to play. i wish i would have had it that easy.

All of Houston's EDM DJ's? don't make me laugh, the promoter just rounded up people he owes favors or is friends with just like always. gonna be another lousy houston shouw with no atmosphere, no vibe, no draw at all except a bunch of idiots who know nothing about music voted the headliner #31 in the world or some other bull.
and not to sound rude, but when did you break out? you wouldn't last 2 seconds as a promoter or DJ if you didn't live in one of the deadest cities in this country. good luck finding anyone who's willing to deal with your ego anywhere else. |
