in the right hands this film would be brilliant.......just like the game was........

in general, movie adaptations of games are rubbish, the best one was silent hill and it wasnt anything amazing

| The atmosphere in Bioshock made it one of the most enjoyable / immersive experiences I've ever had with a game. I'd like to feel pumped about a movie but I'd rather not get my hopes up. |

i tend to agree. i cant imagine a film coming close to capturing the awesomeness that was the game. i also cant imagine them getting the chief protagonist to cut open little girls (i cut them all open, mwaaaaaaa!) either.
the game had so much skill and polish in every aspect of its design, that i cant imagine some hollywood hack managing the same.
