When I grew up listening to Scooter in the early 90's, I never heard anyone associating the word 'techno' with Scooter's sound. It was either 'Hardstyle' or/and 'Rave.'
And I would have to second your E-type > Scooter post.

ditto for guys like Gigi D'Agostino and countless euro acts, lol. The UK loves it's boy bands too. Watch the brit awards...lots of good talent, but also can be quite the fromage fest :D |
