| Lol, my only experience with Halo was the first one that I played 5 minutes of on the PC. That's all I needed. |

That's just tragic. For this reason, I am vowing never to purchase Halo 3, even though I happen to like it a little bit (though it is no CoD 4 or Orange Box) |

| COD4 is cool def better then halo on another level, I did enjoy halo 2 for what it was back then. In other news I let my friend borrow my wii and I got his 360 :p should be fun for a bit. |

The Halo franchise really just didn't evolve properly enough to compete with the other big-time 2007/2008 FPS's. Once the whole "Halo Hype Train" came and went at the end of September, people stopped caring and started playing CoD 4 the second it hit shelves.
And to think the main reason I bought a 360 was for Halo 3...still have yet to pick it up, and as I vowed to you, I will never.
:haha: Ok honestly If I feel like picking it up, I will, but I probably won't, so it's all good. |

| The first one for me was fantastic. Granted, being a diehard fan of PC shooters, console shooters are something I've always had a difficult time getting into. The second one was worth playing, especially considering that it was a game my ex really enjoyed playing together. As far as shooters on consoles went, it did not offer much (read: anything) new from the original, but I was not looking for anything spectacular, and was pretty happy with it. With this current generation, there is so much buzz surrounding the online multiplayer, that I find that being the strongest drawing force to try it out. Further to that, I really wish do play through it, if for no other reason than to conclude the convoluted story. |

Resistance was the one on PS2 right? If so, yes, it was a very captivating game. But as I said, shooters like that don't come by on consoles very often. Yeah, it is one of those that I'm definitely excited to see on the PS3. |
