Does Joel have a tattoo of HIMSELF on his arm? Wow... that's a new level of narcissism for you.

See this is the kind of crap that is wrong in the world today and why so many people are segregated. You made judgment on someone and even said you hated him without ever even meeting or talking to him. Josh is a real genuine guy! Very considerate and always willing to lend a hand when needed and bend over backwards to help you out. He's very much into dance music and is not just there to be seen. Recently when my grandfather passed away Josh was the first person to offer up any help with any of my projects while I was out of town at the funeral and out of nowhere even brought over dinner for my wife while we were paking up the car for the drive to new york. I am very happy to have Josh as a friend. Wwhats the old saying, don't judge a book by its cover?
Ted Promo
yeah but with books you can go out and by book covers :p

Anyone know if Wetbar has security cameras running outside the club?

Like I said, thanks for clearing that up! :)

I never have actually made a genuine remark at the guy. If you haven't already noticed, most of the stuff on this board (especially in the Chill Out Room) is absolutely BS where people are just joking around.

Way to judge a book by it's cover Sam! You

I guess I'm guilty too. Just because those two girls were making out doesn't mean they were lesbians :)

I usually look much more ed up than I actually am -- but, yeah, I had gone a few weeks without drinking, which didn't help my already extremely low tolerance, heh. I remember you from AVB, of course -- you should've said hi, if only to hear me ramble incoherently about the muppet DJ.

... Hm, and I think I was also on the stage by the booth at some point -- is that where you saw me? I'm slowly recovering some of my memory.

I saw you on the floor. You kind of appeared out of nowhere to set your drink on the railing near that little VIP area right where I was standing and then were gone. It was all in the blink of an eye. Oh well, I'll catch ya next time. Speaking of muppet dj, I actually think the Mau5 head adds something to the whole show. It's something fresh and cool. People may think it's a gimmick or whatever, but he is actually very skilled.
I got up on the stage near the beginning to snap some pics and then I got up there later until the end. Speaking of which, does anyone know why they roped it off near the end? The bouncer guy was turning away everyone even if they had just stepped down for a minute. Was it something to do with them being afraid a massive crowd would rush up there to meet Deadmau5 or what?

Great ing show, we always have such a fun time at that club. Nice sound, atmosphere and drinks make that my favorite place I think.

Deadmau5 was awesome, but my crew experienced something that will x-list Swerve FOREVER.

That stupid dyke COP apparently told one of my friends to leave a bottle of water he had, and when my friend didn't (because he honestly didn't hear her), one of the bouncers JUMPED him, wrestled him to the ground, basically dislocated his shoulder, and arrested him. FOR A BOTTLE OF WATER!

Bong tried to go over and talk to the COP, basically just saying 'Hey, he's cool, he didn't hear you!" and they jumped him as well, DRAGGING him across the pavement! He has severe road rash on one arm, BLOOD ALL OVER HIS SHIRT, and asphalt EMBEDDED in his skin! We all witnessed it, and the dumb dyke bitch was trying to lie to our faces, saying they both assaulted an officer! Other than that, all she would say to any of us is "Want to go to jail? Want to go to jail?" There are also witnesses to her repeatedly throwing racial slurs toward Bong.

When I tried calling the club later to ask what police jurisdiction the stupid COP was from, they offered NO help!

If anyone else actually witnessed this, please send me a message, I'd like to talk with you. Needless to say, we're already speaking with attorneys.

Because this involved Swerve staff, myself, my 12+ friends in attendance, and various others who have heard of this incident WILL NOT return to this venue. There isn't actually a law that forbids carrying water out of a club, so they had NO RIGHT to physically harm people over it!

I'll post the pictures of Bong later, he looks like someone beat him up!

How many of us have been to several different clubs and how many of them tell you to trash whatever drink you have in your hand before you leave, no matter what it is?

Attorney's can't do . Sorry, but it ain't happening. "I didn't hear them" isn't an excuse. Their response will be "perhaps the reason he didn't hear was because he was under the influence of alcohol or another substance."

Security owns your ass when you enter the premises. Yeah, sucks that this happened, but everyone will live.

Dyke, racist cop? What a thread for juding people....it just doesn't end, does it?

And P.S. - I hate the "rockstar" guy too.

Oh, and I hate people over the age of 12 who make "kissy" faces.

Oops....

Um... I've left clubs with water bottles. And there's no law against carrying it out. However, there are laws stating that a person has a right to their personal property unless presented with a warrant, unless it's in sight and "contraband". Contraband is anything illegal, which water is not. The fact that it may have alcohol in it doesn't hold unless they saw him put it in there. Do they attack people who walk out of liquor stores drinking out of a Coca Cola bottle? No!

The judge goes by laws, not "well security guards are s".

That attitude may work on people who are completely ignorant, but they ed up procedure like 10 times (including charging them for the wrong offense which has nothing to do with the ticket or report).
