To the Balinese people, Warung means "house", the place where they welcome tourists, visitors, clients and especially, friends. A perfect harmony of music, nature and a very special crowd may be the best explanation of Warung Beach Club´s magic. But magic is a mysterious thing, and Warung's appeal is better understood after seeing the sun rise over Brava Beach from its dance floor.
Made In Brazil partnered with Brazil's legendary Warung Beach Club to produce a series of shows in the USA. The first US show will be held at Avalon Hollywood, May 17th, 2008 and feature the talents of Warung's resident DJ duo, Leozinho and percussionist Rodrigo Paciornik, who celebrate their tenth anniversary as Warung residents throughout 2008.

MixMag recently named Warung Beach Club the eighth clubbing wonder of the world, describing it as a place that, every electronic music devotee must make a pilgrimage to. DJ Magazine echoed these sentiments labeling Warung, paradise found, and placing it in the top 5 of its Best Clubs in the World 2007 poll. The May 17th show, Made In Brazil Presents Warung Beach Club, will give American clubbers the chance to sample this clubbing mecca on their own doorstep, recreating Warung's legendary party vibe at Avalon Hollywood.
Special production and set-design will be flown to Avalon from Brazil for this unique event that will re-imagine the Balinese beach temple look for which Warung is renowned. Leozinho and Rodrigo Paciornik, who have graced Warung's decks as residents for 10 years and are revered by Brazilian electronic music fans, will provide musical authenticity, headlining the night with their signature blend of progressive house.
Clubbers in Brazil, eager to catch a glimpse of what Warung's Hollywood experience entailed, will be able to download sets and view photos from the night via the Warung Beach Club website (www.warungclub.com.br). Made In Brazil (www.liquified.com) will host music, video and photos on its site, as well.

The partnership with Made In Brazil is hugely exciting for Warung, said Gustavo Rassi of Warung Beach Club. After two years of doing tours in Europe, it was time for America, and Made In Brazil is the perfect partner to help introduce US club goers to the Warung experience.
Since its inception in 2007 Made In Brazil has sought to celebrate Brazil's contribution to electronic music, not with whistle blowing samba lines and soccer shirts, but with DJ-centric performances that give US clubbers the chance to break away from the predictable. Made In Brazil has toured multiple US cities including San Diego, Los Angeles, Newport and Atlanta, presenting some of South America's hottest talent. Performances have included; Warung Residents - Mary Zander, Leozinho, Rodrigo Paciornik and Fabricio Pecanha; groundbreaking live trio, Life Is A Loop; international sensation Gui Boratto and emerging talents Joao Lee and Rodrigo Ayala.
