the "southamerican champions league" is very underrated on the world. i've seen the matches summaries on youtube and they don't ask too much to the UEFA one.
anyone here aware of this tournament? |

Quarterfinals start tomorrow, they are....
Boca Jrs. vs Atlas
São Paulo vs Fluminense FC
San Lorenzo vs LDU Quito
America vs Santos FC |

Would love to see Atlas beating Boca (Most important match of the four). As for the São Paulo vs Fluminense match, I think São Paulo will go on, as will San Lorenzo.
I could care less about America vs Santos. America might surprise us all by advancing but I don't see them going any further. |

Mexican teams can play in both Champions leagues (South American and Concacaf) Im not sure exactly which teams qualify to which but I think the better teams go to the Libertadores and the Concacaf champs league is like the UEFA cup for Mexico in terms of who qualifys to that tournie.

I hope boca wins it all obviously as they are my favorite team.
Sao Paulo and San Lorenzo should pass as well. I hope America passes because they have had a season in the mexican leauge and this is all they got (event though i hate mexican futbol)
