are there any Bootleg mixes that you guys like or accept?
there are only 3 that i have liked they are Roger Sanchez vs Opus 3 - Another Fine Chance Day (stupid name)
rank 1 vs kylie - true love never dies (now ripped off by flip and fill i believe)
and the one you will all argue with me over :eyespop:
pvd vs jps - Found An Angel
i like this track because all it does is layers another set of vocals over the original and actually succeeds in doing it well!
However its probably not as good as the original
anyway are there any bootlegs that you like or think 1'd like ?

The guy who made this and any other 'producer' who used any PVD song, but For an angel in particulair, should be lynched
a) he's using the good reputation of the song to score
b) this song just cannot be messed with, any change will screw it up

I think the PvD vs JPS is brill...
blew my mind the first time I heard it, as I was expecting the original :)

Paul van Dyk vs JPS - Found an Angel
I think this is an excellent track.
I would use the reputation of this song if I could make a quality production out of it. Remember, trance music IS a business. How does this differ from, say, Tiesto ft. Suzanne Palmer - 643 (Loves on Fire) or 4 Strings - Take Me Away Into the Night (Vocal Remix) ... it's the same principle, just adding vocals to a reputable track to create more sales.
It certainly worked w/Windsider - Hidden Flight. Didn't see that many people complaining about that track, just because it wasn't the almighty PvD. |
