So I first heard Kristian Beyer play this here in NYC a month ago at cielo.

The track completely blew me away - one of those increasingly rare holy moments where everything freezes around you and you just feel inside the space of the track. (the henrik schwarz remix). This is my favorite HS since his remix of vuoi vuoi mu. He has a habit apparently of digging up awesome Scandinavian vocalists.

Norwegian songwriter, guitarist and vocalist Ane Brun is a rising star. With two Norwegian Grammy's for Best Female Artist and Song Of The Year in 2005, her most recent and third studio album "Changing Of The Seasons" entering the Norwegian charts at 1 and the Swedish charts at 2 the future looks very bright for her. Additionally songs from her three albums, “Spending time with Morgan,” “A Temporary Dive” and “Duets” have gained significant critical attention and appeal far beyond her Scandinavian base.

Now Brun has connected with one of the most exciting New York Independent dance music label’s . Dennis Ferrer’s - Objektivity. Ferrer has gathered an international cast of some of today's leading house and techno producers to take the works of Brun one step further. The aptly named "Ane Brun Objektified" full length will be released later this summer – here is the first single, a taster of what is to come - Brun’s "Headphone Silence" remixed by Henrik Schwarz.

Henrik Schwarz's "Headphone Silence" launches the project with edits from the ever brilliant DJ Dixon and Objektivity's own Dennis Ferrer. Berlin based Schwarz is undeniably one of the most innovative producers working in dance music and his remix of another Scandinavian folk singer, Mari Boine "Vuoi Vuoi Me" established his aptitude with precisely this sort of vocal arrangement.

Dixon heads up Innervisions, a leading boutique house label from Berlin's vibrant, electronic music scene and as one half of Wahoo has show his versatility as a producer outwith the immediate 4/4 of club music.

New York based Dennis Ferrer is known as the "hit maker" and has had a string of huge club hits and remixes that universally appeal to an unprecedented cross section of the dance music community from techno to house. His last single was the club smash "A Black Man in Space" on Objektivity earlier this year. Ferrer also recently did a cover mount mix CD for UK magazine Mixmag (available on request).

Schwarz composed his remix initially as a live lap top piece, mixing it down under the watchful eyes of close colleagues Ame, another major player in the club world.

"Ane Brun Objektified" the album will also feature unique remixes by Quentin Harris,The Martinez Brothers, Bah Sonik, Karizma, Jerome Sydenham and more.

not sure of release date - hopefully soon.

Dixon = absolute magic right now.

The whole Innervisions and Objektivity crews are pretty much both solid gold as of late.

Samples sound lovely.

while were sort of on topic, anyone know where i can pick up Camille - Ta Douler (Henrik Schwarz Remix) besides those sketchy russian mp3 stores where each song is 20 cents?

The Henrik Schwartz remix is lovely. Hypnotic.

I thought this was a bjork remix or something, even though it doesn't sound like Bjork at all...and then I connected the two.

Ace track, and the vocals are lovely.

Ferrer's edit is a bit pointless next to Dixon's.

Odd, I don't like the Dixon one :p

and needless to say this was a purchase.
