I still use my decks for playing quite a bit of vinyl as well as fs, was thinking of dropping some wedge on decent needles, so just wondering if anyone has used these?

Are they worth getting over any of the other Ortofons?

I'm looking out for some good dvs-needles aswell. Found this site when i googled for reviews on the digitrack's. But the reviewer definately preferred the scratch-needles instead.

Be careful with reviews in mags and even online - not to sound jaded but chances are ortofon advertise with them, so of course they are going to push a new product.

Having said that, I'm not familiar with ortofon digis' but I have used the nightclub E's for 5 years now and feel they offer the best balance of tracking and sound reproduction. Recently I've been using them with my mate's serato, and when he comes over he reckons my Ortofons track them better than his sure m447's (which kind of surprised me as they are meant to be the best for tracking.....?)

I own a pair of the Shure M 44-7 and we have some Digitracks at the club. By FAR!!! For DVS, the Digitracks win hands down. The only problem is they're so damn expensive. If you are a turntablist, than the Shure, but for straight mixing the Digitracks. I noticed the big difference when Serato was displaying really high output levels (Circles) on the digitracks vs some troubleshooting that I had to do with the shures.
