for me it was metropolis 02 for a massive and markus schulz in oakland in 03. wasnt 21 until 2004 and i never liked the whole kiddie/rave thing, still dont care for it but do wish i went to that gig at the santa clara fair grounds back in 2000? friend who isnt in the scene any more (and who actually introduced me to other EDM genres other than freestyle) talked about it so much! |

Absolutely! It's HUGE in countries like Romania, Russia, etc right now. ;)
I've heard something like 60-70% of all e-mail spam originates from there. Sickening. |

Before that, I started listening to Trance and BT and PVD in 1996.
I fast-tracked my EDM lifespan from music>Trance>House>Prog>Techno in the span of 4 years.
I still enjoy everything at some point or another. |
