The "Neo Trans" version is better than anything else he's done recently, not bad, but kind of directionless - I don't know, maybe it'll grow on me.
The club mix sounds like everything else he's done lately. That pretty much says it all as far as I'm concerned. |

The Neo Trans version has definitely played well to me today since I picked it up - I figured after slating Popof so much on here I had to give a shot to anything from him that had a glimmer of potential just to be fair, and I just like that it's kind of a pad-heavy, chill, chuggy tune.
Don't know if it will be a flavor of the moment or stick around, but definitely hope he continues to diversify his pallet. |

I'm definitely with you guys on this one. I was liking Popof's sound during Bells Of Brighton/Alcoolic releases in December, also the MOS remix he did. Other stuff hasn't been on my plate.
Comparing Neo Trans to Club Mix is like pointing out all that is GOOD and BAD about his so-called formulaic production approach imo. |
