lol what a great website. a few of my friends will love this site

John McCain also spent 3 years in solitary confinement and five years total being tortured nearly everyday. He is a hero and a legend. Give him some credit whether you want him to be president or not.

So have thousands of others. Give them all some ing credit instead of parading McCain around like he's the greatest war hero to have ever lived. That fact that he voted against a ban on waterboarding speaks for itself.

Excuse me for asking, but why does being captured by Vietnamese soldiers and tortured for years make you a more eligible presidential candidate?

I understand respecting war veterans and heroes, Canada is big on it too, and I'm not saying we're any better but this just isn't an issue here, even in our conservative party... The issue of a military record that is.

And when it comes down to it, is a solid military record really a deciding factor anymore? John Kerry had how many purple hearts and yet Bush still won with his summer camp @ the air national guard experience?

There's a huge fetish for masculinity in American politics.

Anything that makes a politician seem "tougher" is a big hit with the voters.

Ok so how is Hillary going to win again?

I mean she looks like a dude but how much can she bench? How many asians has she killed?

Those are the kinds of questions that would lead to her defeat in the fall.

She probably isn't, assuming she gets the nomination -- which looks increasingly unlikely.

LOL.

Actually, I think the masculinity issue will be less of a big deal this year. The big things this time around will be the economy, health care, and all that jazz.
