WOW...what a f*kin' night that was. It was great to see everyone again, as it had been quite some time. Started off at the dinner, which was chill, first time there so the brew was great and the appeitzers were yummy...I will go back for sure. Did not get a chance to meet Sean, but then again, I am not one to cut in and introduce myself...probably a weak point of mine...but it was fun hangin' out. Headed to the club and was excited to be able to get in right away and just chill for a bit with everyone before L & S started up. Great job by the way, loved the music selection, truly LOVED the Deadmau5 remix of Longest Road...great vocal.
Was trippin out on the lasers, they were sick, and gave that room a different feel for the night. Enjoyed Blurr's set, another great selection of tunes...didn't expect progessive tunage, but welcomed & enjoyed nonetheless. What to say about Sean...DAMN DAMN DAMN...he tore it up...and really was into it and feelin' the crowd. There were a alot of tunes that he played that I liked...but I am all about a great rock/alternative song remixed...and Breaking Benjamins was the highlight of the nightduring his set...kick ass tune. Funny points while upstairs was Jeremy straight out head bangin' and droppin a blindside head- butt to my head (I was fine...I don't know about jeremy though) and Karina throwing a kick while dancing that graced the front of Ish's face...LOL...oh the look on his face...LOL :P
Finally ended mainroom...didn't catch blurr, but I did catch Ish and John...WOW...you two took the energy through the roof. Tune after tune...you two fed off each other and kept the peeps wanting more...including myself and iris. Iris got some great pics of you two...I think she even got one when all three of you with arms raised...she will probably send them to you after she cleans them up. Caught Taj's set for about 15 minutes and then just crashed energy wise...we stayed out till 5:30 am on Saturday then drove to the bay at 1pm...so you do the math...we were on fumes...so we headed to hotel to catch some zzz's before the endup and we must of not heard the alarm because housekeeping made us wake up at 12pm :P Oh well, maybe next time...great times, and as always we love seeing all the TA's and just having a smashing time with you all.

I found this video on Youtube.
This girl took a bunch of em, this is one with the outline of the lasers I had on both sides of the booth. I guess I need more smoke in the room for you to see em with a digital cam...
On a side note... Speaking with Sean a few weeks prior I asked if I could pair him up with someone who would he Duo with...
Simple he says... Simon Patterson, hes the only one I would feel comfortable playing with.
I wonder... ST VS SP?
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. :D

Great show. and for the record. I prefer being upstairs rather than in the main room. The main room always leaves me with a bitter taste in my mouth.. Hope more good trance shows go off up there.

the only complaint i have is that why did they put sean tyas upstairs? i was expecting him to be in the main room. and the sound system totally sucked ass. it kept getting loud and then low. that became really annoying. i guess the cool thing about it was that it wasn't too crowded up there. but damn...it was hot...!!
i was surprised no one was screaming or anything when sean came on. i looked up to see that blurr was done, so i figure sean was on. but sean was on fire...!! he did not disappoint me for my first time seeing him. track selection was good. i will definitely go see him again. thanks to taj for making this night happen.

this was a great party to show up to... the upstairs dj booth was new to me as was the lay out in the main room, the lighting was bolder and more colorful than usual--the lasers were a nice touch, and the 1015/ta crew was in full force which made it a positive to have the back area for people to intermingle and hang out without having to worry about overcrowding like in the main room booth... but it quickly became too hot and too crowded for comfort. we only stayed for an hour or so, but it was a good experience because i never overheated to the point of getting sweaty and tired. still i think it would have been a better night with trance in the main room, but i was impressed with how the party shaped up given the circumstances. i wish i could have been in 2 places at once so i could see how the night developed fully and been able to hear more of the djs' sets.

i'm sure the bullsh*t upstairs issue will be discussed plenty later, and it already has in person that night (and i have plenty more to say about that), but for now i'll start with the positives..
highlights:
- fun to start off at the pre-dinner with everyone.
- sean tyas absolutely took off in the last 30 minutes!
- blurr finishing up upstairs with a remix of 'members of mayday - 10 in 01' and then another dose of it when taj played it in the main room later. this was a great treat for me! (absolutely love this track, from an earlier era of german stuff (back from 2001), from Westbam. first time i've ever heard this track get played in the US) ( YOUTUBE: original version of song)
- taj closing it up in the main room... one of my fav closing sets in a while. just killing it!
- gogo gorgeous... lovely! nice to have them up front with the dj once again (like it should be) rather than the crappy setup at the sides of the main room.
- those laser lights... sometimes things like that could be too much or too bright, but they worked pretty well in terms of making upstairs feel different.
- and drink specials :) wish i had made more use of them :(

I had a great time up at 1015! This was my 1st time I really got a chance to hang out there. Last time I was there was for PVD's set during Lovefest. It was way too crowded and hot so we didn't stay too long. Had a couple of beers at the TA Meet-up which I thought was perfect before a long night. Got to meet some new TA's and drink with Ismael, Lyndsay, GPC and the Candy Girl! Heard some great new tracks from Sean. Can't wait to get my hands on Tyas vs Patterson! I would have liked to stay a little longer and hang out in the main room but we had to leave early. Sean's flight was at 8am so he wanted to relax a little before flying back to Swiss. Also, thanks Taj, Kyo and Ray for a great time and taking care of me!!! Hope to be back at 1015 soon!

What a great night and big kudos to everyone who made this night memorable. Blurr did a fine fine job opening for Sean and the upstairs room was set up nicely. :) Sean played alot of great tunes and the crowd was totally into it.
I'm glad the mainroom opened up for us in the end. Beaver, it was a pleasure playing with you. Your energy was stellar and the tracks you played were a perfect combo for what I had planned to play that night. The energy level was off the charts in the main room!!
Thank you Taj for everything and even under the circumstances of the club's booking of additional promoters, I felt this night was unique and special. Felt like the EDM gods were on our side afterall. :D
Thanks to everone who came out to support. Gilla, it was great meeting you as well and the crew. Best wishes to you guys. :)

Vahid..So Sorry for you b/c the sound volume was low when you played..but I could manage to get it fixed and turned it much louder when I played. :) i closed the room at 6.50AM...

Wow what a crazy day/night it was. I barely slept the night before. Was out wine tasting/drinking all day for a good friends bday. Figured I would be in the city, so I needed to make sure to have proper clothes for 1015 in case I stayed. And stayed I did. I finally got to 1015 @1 am and caught Sean tyas upstairs in the main room. He was absolutely rocking it. It was a long night. But I was glad I was able to Catch Sean. He's a really relaxed Dj - and its great to see how much he likes to chat and interact with everyone. I stuck around for a good part of Taj's set in the main room. That was awesome. great tunes! The lights were amazing too. They were tripping me out.
