well, since its already at the top, i figure i can reply safely to this thread without bumping it.

Futura Legend - Restless Nature and RBA - No Alternative have good titles for a funeral

But i think i would rather have a mix with the tracklist being the following choons:

Kay Cee - Milennium Stringz (Original Mix)
Taste Experience - Highlander (End Game Mix)
Xstasia - Sweetness (Ferry Corsten Remix)
System F - Solstice (Extended Mix)
Gouryella - Walhalla (Original Mix)
System F - Insolation (Original Mix)
Bullitt - Cried to Dream (Max Graham Remix)
Ron Hagen & Pascal M - On Stream (Original Mix)

that should do me over

[edited because i cant spell]

Ofcourse it has to be either :
Jose Amnesia - The Eternal (Sunrise Remix)
William Orbit - Ravel's Pavane Pour Une Infante Defunte
Tiesto - Magik Journey (Euro Version)
Moby - God Moving Over The Face Of The Waters
Gouryella - Tenshi (Mark Moon Remix)

It's actually interesting that this thread came up as I just did a paper on what I'd do for my funeral in my Mythology class last semester!

Anyway, at the funeral itself, no real music, the proper funeral will be short anyway, very short, just enough to appease the people who think they're necessary.

Anyway, at the proceedings afterward I'd have to have some of the following spun:

- Chicane "Red Skies"

My favourite Chicane track of all time, it's 100% mellow and beautiful.

- Gouryella "Gouryella (Armin Van Buuren's Rising Star Mix"

A classic and so appropriate.

- Sabres of Paradise "Chilled Ibiza"

I can never get enough of the Sabres :D

I also agree with earlier posters on PvD's "Face to Face" and Tiesto's "Majik Journey"

This is my plan for my funeral(I have told my parents/brother/friends so they know to do it):

All my money will go into the biggest event ever, they'll hire a dance hall, get a good international DJ to play (Tiesto/corsten/armin if i'm rich) and have the best farking night ever to remember me by.

I think I found a new one to add to my list:

Vangelis - Anthem (Remix)

touching, yet sad at the same time...
