Legendary set, charlotte knew how to welcome paul back to charlotte after nearly 4 years. More pics and videos to come later. This is the 3rd best set I ever heard

1. PVD @ Space Nov 2005
2. PVD @ Space WMC 2008
3. PVD @ the forum

Yeah, reviews aren't usually just "omg it was good, way to epic set!".

I will write a full review when I get a moment. He played a very good flowing set with lots of energy similar to WMC this year. The club completely sold out and the vibe was crazy.

Tracks that he played I can remember right now

Souls In Motion - Rapid Eye Movement
JS16 - Lights Go Wild [PvD Edit]
Super8 & Tab - Elektra
Activa - Remember (Club Mix)
PvD ft. Ryan Merchant - Talk In Grey (Club Mix)
PvD - Another Way
Second Sun - Crush
Funkagenda - What The
Dero - I Retro (Dero's Rave Rmx)[PvD Edit]
John Gibbons & Scimon Tist - Beautiful Filth (Paul Webster Rmx)
Jose Amnesia - Follow Me (Giuseppe Ottaviani Rmx)
DJ Dazzle - Chaos Theory
PvD - For An Angel
PvD - Time of our lives

I went and I had a blast!!! I'm more of a classic trance fan, so the first two DJ's that came on didn't do much for me. I forgot PVD had so many hits though, each one that came on was like a "oh yea, I forgot about this song" moment. I'm surprised he didn't play White Lies though. I took some decent videos on my camera and I'll post the Youtube link up here once I get em all uploaded. I can't wait for Tiesto!

Sick show without a doubt!!! PvD never fails to put on a banging show. It was very very similar to the Space set for WMC a few months ago, only a bit shorter obviously. Track selection was superb, progression of the set was as well. Started off very high energy, the settled down a bit into the set into a nice steady pace with good climaxes. Then of course picked up the hard energy toward the end, and ended with some epic tracks like "Time of our Lives" as well as a nice ethereal vocal track for the finisher. Classic PvD...had the crowd begging for more! The club was def. packed to capacity, even more so because of the rain outside which cleared the outdoor areas. It had been a while since I had been to the Forum and I was pretty pleased with the lighting, sound, etc. Not the greatest ever, but good for a small city. Fog cannons certainly added a nice effect, made it feel a bit like a miny Space. The club could use a few lasers reflected on some disco balls though..Well that's my take, everyone get ready for Tiesto next month!!!!!

Hey that's cool..everybody is entitled to their own opinion. I've met sooo many cynical people about PvD. People that "were fans when PvD was PvD". I still like him though, he's one of the few massive international DJs that still plays good quality sets in my humble opinion. I have fun at his shows, and his productions are good.
