I had Shredded Beef and Broccoli last night. You're right, it really doesn't get any better than that! I always give them good tips as a token of my appreciation for their service to society, especially when braving the harsh elements.

The thought that it is not real Chinese food is a farce. The fact that it is something that is usually reserved for the better to do folks, doesn't make it "not real" Chinese food. My aunt is from Shanghai. She said that most of the Chinese food ate in the states is not eaten by the majority of the country, as it is EXPENSIVE to do so. The developed world has a lot more disposable income, and therefore can afford to eat the "luxuries" of the Chinese foods. |

Sort of. Granted most chinese don't eat what we think of as 'chinese food', but the seasonings and other stuff have definitely evolved to become more american imo (this coming from having eaten at fancy pants restaurants in china and having an absolutely amazing chinese place down the street from me).
good lord the chinese place down the street from me is amazing too, dude owns an entire farm and grows all his own veggies, gfdgjadhlfgk they're ing amazing. |

| I recently went to a real Chinese restaurant and I couldn't eat most of the food they served so now I'm ok with eating American style Chinese food. |

I totally agree with some places, but it really depends on what sort of place you go to. I try to go to the hole in the wall mom and pop shops. Not the horribly gross panda express type. |
