Of course, assholes who do nothing but sit in our moms' basement downloading emmpeethrees all day and posting on the internet.

Embrace it. Like Ace of Bass said, "It's a beautiful life, whoa-oh-oh-oh."

At once?

:conf:

Though I do have absolutely no doubt the flanger was in full effect on every breakdown, all night. :p

We have 3 CDJs standard in our tech rider because something always goes wrong with at least one of them and its better to have a 3rd one in case. The 4th one is a DVDJ...Armin has custom visual for hundreds of tracks. We do use the EFX-1000, but tastefully.

that's cool the DVDJ is actually being used, I was wondering about that - also any reason for the 1000 opposed to the 800? I thought the FX was used tactfully.

Blake, how did it feel having people chant "Armin, Armin, Armin" 30 minutes after the show starts and you just got in to your set?

I would have been like you my name is Blake Jarrell, and played hardstyle or something.

in the rider it says either have an 800 or a 1000 + efx (since the 1000 doesnt have efx)

doesnt bother me...95% of the people there are there to see him, not me, so its perfectly logical. it happens alot (probably every other show) and im used to it. usually the people chanting are the same people going nuts to the tracks im playing. it only takes one drunk person to start it and it spreads pretty fast, people are pretty hive-minded when they are drunk. one time in calgary a guy started chanting tiesto just to see if people would follow along and they did. funny.

Well Blake, where are you now? Aruba? Malaysia? High rise condo?

Off on the magic mystery tour with Armin?

I didn't see you stick around (or maybe you did hell). Did you see them lose control of the stage? Haha

And does "Not Alone Tonight" really fit in to any of your setlists? I was thinking the whole vibe of the song is pretty different.

Im in Chicago and yes I stayed til the end.

losing control of the stage? im guessing you are reffering to the monitors going out? Vision staff handled it to the best of their ability but the only thing thats really going to prevent that is an entirely new sound system and electrical setup.

I did 2 different remixes of Not Alone Tonight, one very techy and one very trancey. I would like to consider myself a fairly diverse producer and even more diverse DJ.
