But but but if you compliment someone you like, you are giving them a reason to smile. When you give someone a reason to smile, it makes you feel good.
If you insult someone you dislike, you aren't giving them a reason to smile (unless your insult is funny). When you insult someone you dislike, even if they dislike you, you're probably making them feel bad. Why would making someone feel bad be a good thing?
Best thing to do is find something nice to say or don't say anything at all. Surprisingly enough if you find something nice to say about someone you might end up liking them, despite yourself.
...And posts like this are why I'm called a goodie two shoes. Sigh |

and likewise, insulting someone i dont like makes me feel good. by bringing their obvious headed-ness to their attention, i am giving them a beautiful chance to grow.

how is someone meant to know they should try harder in school if i dont mock their pitiful command of the written word? how is someone going to get passed their idiotic superstitions if i dont stomp their idiotic faith into the dirt? how is the the slut going to realise her skirt is too short unless i give her some surprise sex? |
